History

Freemasons Lodge Manawatu Kilwinning 47 has the dual distinction of being Palmerston North's first and oldest Scottish Constitution Freemasons Lodge (No.693) and also the first and oldest Freemasons New Zealand Lodge (No.47) in Palmerston North.


We have been meeting every month for over 139 years.


Excellence

We are highly respected amongst the wider group of Freemasons Lodges in the Ruapehu District (Including Manawatu, Horowhenua, Rāngitikei and Whanganui) for our extremely high standard of ceremonial ritual, which makes for an especially memorable experience for candidates working through the Three Degrees of  Freemasonry.
